Invitation to participate in the Weed Hygiene Survey

You are invited to participate in a Weed Hygiene Survey that Orima Research are conducting for the Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party (VSTWP). You will find the information needed to access the online survey in the ‘How to participate’ section below.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete, depending on your level of interaction with the services and the level of detail you provide in your answers.

About the survey: the purpose of the survey is to identify current issues and solutions to weed hygiene management policy, procedures, and attitudes, to inform the production of a Best Practice Weed Hygiene Guide and weed hygiene training. These efforts aim to increase the capacity of local Government, linear reserve managers, private land managers and public land managers to manage serrated tussock and other weeds, through increasing knowledge of weed hygiene practices, contract management and oversight.

Confidentiality and privacy information: this survey is being conducted by ORIMA Research on behalf of the Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party (VSTWP). Your responses will be treated as confidential and will not be linked to your personal identifying information. There may be some analysis by demographic categories. This will be reported in groups to prevent the identification of individuals or individual organisations.

The aggregated information will be supplied to the VSTWP and used to inform the development of best practice guides and best practice weed hygiene training.

Your free text responses will be provided to VSTWP in their original (un-edited) format. Your name will not be linked with your responses except where you provide this yourself in your comments.

You have a right to access personal information that VSTWP holds about you, subject to any exceptions in relevant legislation.
